Stellar Frontier: closed test coming soon
Android first. How to sign up, what the test covers and what we want to learn from you.

Stellar Frontier is a tactical space strategy game for mobile, and it is getting close to its first closed test. Android comes first; iOS is planned. Here is what the test covers, how to take part and what we hope to learn from you.
What the test covers
Battles play out on a hex battlefield where asteroids and pulsing crystal zones make positioning decisive. You command fleets of living, scrap-built and crystal-forged starships, and you can collect ships from rival factions: Void Leviathan, Blightmaw, Crystal Guardian, Scrapeater and Shadow Interceptor.
Between battles, your frontier station keeps producing while you are away, and cloud saves keep your progress across devices. The game is free to play, in English, French and German.
No pay-to-win, no dark patterns. We respect your time, your wallet and your data.
How to sign up
Testers will be invited through the Stellar Frontier website. Join the playtest list on its feedback page, and we will get in touch when the test opens. We would rather read every piece of feedback than rush, so we will bring players in gradually.
Want to play before everyone else? Join the playtest list on the Stellar Frontier website. We will announce the test dates there and here as soon as they are set.
What we want to learn
- Whether positioning on the hex grid feels decisive, or just fiddly on a phone.
- How the station's offline production feels after a day away.
- Which faction ship you want first, and why.
Thank you for reading, and see you on the frontier.
